Tutorial - Valentines Day

Valentines Day Look

So normally I am not a huge pink fan but when it comes to V Day you might as well break out the pink looks. I was requested on my YouTube page to do a Valentines Day look and this is what I came up with, its a easy enough pink smokey outer v look. So break out your pink shadows and give it a try. Don't forget to watch the video and read bellow for what I used.

Tutorial - Neutral Work Look

Neutral Work Look

I wanted to do a series of looks that are work appropriate. I always would have a hard time looking for inspiration for looks to wear to a job interview or anywhere that you want a more subtle makeup look. This is the first look in what I hope to be a series of look. I work in an office and I only want to spend so much time getting ready in the morning and this is one of my favorite looks to do when I just want something fast, nice and neutral. It can be changed to match the colors you have but I really like the golden tones. Make sure to watch the video and check out the list bellow of what I used to create this look.

L'Oreal HIP Duo Review

L'Oreal HIP Duo Review

I got my first HIP duo this summer after seeing swatches and reviews online and its been all gravy since then. I now have 9 shades and I love all but one so I think that is a true testament to the great job L'Oreal did with this line. Normally if I am going to spend more than $5 on an eyeshadow than its MAC but the HIP duos are an exception. Normally however I do just wait till they got on sale at my local drug store and then pick one or two up. I would suggest them to someone looking to build their collection or who is just starting out and can't afford MAC. They are not a MAC replacement but they are really close. If you would like to see my video review than check out my YouTube page or keep reading for pictures and swatches.

Hello, welcome to my first blog post here on Blogger. I wanted to make a place where I could post all my makeup randomness, so this is what I have come up with thus far. As you may have guessed already my name is Sarah Desiree and have a makeup addiction that started in about June of 2008 and now there is no turning back lol. I got into my addiction after watching alot of the amazing people on YouTube and would have never seen it going as far as it has. I'm planing on updating this blog with Looks of the day, ideas for looks and other things I find interesting in the world of makeup.
